Walk through the most common Teams Phone issues with a guided checklist. Tick items off as you validate each dependency.

Diagnosis tree

Auto Attendant not answering

  1. Resource Account exists and is licensed
    Teams Admin Center → Resource accounts. Verify the MCOEV_VIRTUALUSER SKU.
  2. Phone number is assigned to the resource account
    Get-CsPhoneNumberAssignment -AssignedPstnTargetId <resource account-ObjectId>.
  3. Business hours match current time zone
    Auto Attendant settings → Language & time zone.
  4. Call flow is bound to the Auto Attendant
    Menu options and default flow are populated.
